Established in 2006 Another Dance Company is a project based contemporary dance company.
Another Dance Company's work includes;
- professional contemporary choreography & performance
- dance education for young people and adults within formal education and the community
- project management
Dancers join A.D.C. for choreography and performance projects. The education stream is pre-dominantly managed and facilitated by Laura Aldridge.
‘Dance is something that everybody can do and enjoy, but often people are unsure what dance is about, or how it is relevant to them and their lives. I strive to create dance that is relevant to people, that makes them rethink their approach to dance and inspires them to try it for themselves. I’m passionate about doing this because I believe in the power of dance as a means of expression.’

Another Dance Company was established to create professional work that widens the accessibility of contemporary dance and encourages participation.
Workshops and education programmes revealing the processes and skills used to make dance are an integral part of Another Dance Company’s vision to increase audiences’ understanding, interest and participation.
